For hotels and PMS vendors
Pilot partner
Bring a hotel or a platform, authorised access to its systems, and the people who can tell whether HOS gets arrivals right.
The PMS knows the booking. Housekeeping knows the room. The messaging tool knows the guest is coming early. HOS is an open standard designed to let them share one picture, so your team sees problems before guests do, and tomorrow's AI tools work under your rules.
AI is arriving in hotel operations. Hotels and software vendors that prepare now keep the choice of their tools and partners.
The guest is early.
See the risk before they do.
The same room. The whole picture.
Alert: room 204 may not be ready in time
Expected at 12:00. Inspection still pending.
The problem
A guest writes to say they will arrive early. The PMS expects them this afternoon. Housekeeping still has the room as dirty. Each system holds part of the answer, and nobody sees the whole situation until the guest is at the front desk.
The same booking, guest and room carry a different reference in each system. Matching them takes a custom integration, every time.
The PMS shows the room as clean; housekeeping has not inspected it yet. Your team has to know which one to believe.
An AI tool cannot be trusted to act in a hotel until it is clear what it may do, who approves it and what it did.
First proof
HOS starts with one everyday situation: a guest arriving to a room that is not ready. It is tested on three cases: an early arrival, a room going out of order on the morning of arrival, and a late check-out in a room promised to someone else. HOS raises the alert and shows where each piece of information comes from. It never checks a guest in, moves a guest or changes a booking: your team stays in charge.
What HOS brings
A booking, a room or a cleaning task means the same thing in every system that speaks HOS, and each piece of information says where it came from.
Each hotel's data stays separate, each system states what it is responsible for, and anything that happens can be checked afterwards.
HOS starts by spotting problems. Suggestions come next, then actions your team approves. AI gets more freedom only once it has earned it.
Who it's for
Today
Knowing whether a guest can check in means checking several screens that do not agree.
With HOS
Your team sees one picture of each arrival and knows which system to trust. You can change a tool without rebuilding everything around it.
For example
Know at 9:00 that the room for an early arrival will not be ready, not when the guest is at the desk.
Trust by design
Get involved
Early participants shape HOS around how hotels really work. Nobody gets exclusive rights over the standard, over anyone's data or over future certification.
For hotels and PMS vendors
Bring a hotel or a platform, authorised access to its systems, and the people who can tell whether HOS gets arrivals right.
For organisations shaping HOS
Bring business and technical expertise, and financial support at levels that will be published openly.
For developers and integrators
Help build the standard in the open: data formats, PMS mappings, tests or documentation.
For funders
Fund the shared work. Patrons get no special vote, data access or certification advantage.
